Alejandra is a defender of women's and children's rights, an entrepreneur, and a feminist activist. Alejandra is constantly training on issues of gender, human rights and sustainability in order to advocate for the causes and people who need protection. Her arguments are based on justice and love. Her activist work seeks the freedom and equality of all women. Alejandra participates in peaceful protests and in groups promoting rights for women. She strives to encourage education, love, courage, sisterhood, and knowledge. Those who have the privilege of knowing Alejandra know that she has a heart the size of the universe.

Ana is a committed athlete and determined to always give her best effort. She trains to run marathons and compete in triathlons. Of biking, swimming, and running, running is her greatest passion. It fills her heart with happiness and joy. Running is important to Ana because she feels more clarity and peace of mind when she’s doing it. Ana knows it's important to help her teammates and contribute to their success and development by sharing workouts together. She reminds them of the enormous potential they have as athletes. Ana can sometimes be a little serious because she tries to set a good example for everyone around her through perseverance, respect, charity, and hard work.

Ángel

Ángel is a veterinarian by profession. He loves helping pets to be healthy and happy. Ángel also enjoys laughing with his family and friends. In his spare time, Ángel reads. He found his passion for reading when he discovered that he can travel to thousands of places and get to know hundreds of people through books. He likes to learn from each of them. Thanks to books, Angel has made friends in many parts of the world, talking about his favorite stories. He enjoys exchanging opinions, organizing reading circles, and collaborating with other readers. He is convinced that reading is not a solo activity, it is something that is shared and enjoyed with others.

Brígida

Values: humility, simplicity, and innocence

Brígida lived with the innocence of a little girl, always with a smile on her face and a desire to learn from the world around her. She found happiness in the small and simple things in life. She worked in a home that wasn't her own, but she was always the first to get up and make sure everyone had breakfast. Secretly, she was also the last to fall asleep in case someone needed her help. She cared for the members of the household as if they were her own and was considered another member of the family. Brígida is remembered with affection and respect for her life of service, her advice, and her anecdotes that always made everyone laugh.

Charly

Values: respect, thoroughness, tradition, dedication, love, and discipline

Charly is an animal lover. He has always been surrounded by them and recognizes their value in our lives. His favorite animal is the horse. The first time he rode one was at 8 months. Since then, he began training in the art of Charrería (horsemanship), a world cultural heritage and source of Mexican pride. Four generations of his family have practiced Charrería, a family tradition that reflects his love for Mexico. He believes that the Charrería allows Mexico to shine before other cultures in the world. Charly proudly wears the charro outfit because it represents the cultural integration of Mexico. Charly enjoys the atmosphere that surrounds the Charrería such as the food, music, and picturesque dances that generate joy in those who experience them.

Cyntia

Values: charity, kindness, and altruism

Cyntia is silently charitable. She is always willing to help others, but never makes it public. Cyntia lives by the belief that to give is to receive. She always helps others when she has the opportunity because she has the perspective that sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down, and sometimes you’re on both sides. For Cyntia, giving and receiving are a natural part of the social dynamic. Cyntia serves others by helping in any way they need. She helps others find jobs by offering her network, makes anonymous donations to noble causes, makes generous gifts, and is an excellent hostess. The most special thing you can receive from Cyntia is a sincere and genuine friendship.

Dana is passionate about the arts. She is a designer by profession and a teacher by choice, working with young children. Dana seeks to understand the meaning and beauty behind each artistic work. She then tries to transmit that inspiration in an enthusiastic way to her students in the classroom. Dana believes that art instruction from an early age can change the way the child perceives life. Dana inspires new generations to appreciate art, enjoy museums, and explore their own creativity. Dana believes that we all have an innate visual sense that we can develop by paying attention to the simple forms that surround us every day – in a night sky full of stars, a simple blue sky, the dark oils on canvas, or in historical artifacts.

Dayanna

Values: discipline, determination, effort, and perseverance

In addition to her career, life as a couple, and love of cooking, Dayanna runs. She began running as a hobby and it soon became one of her greatest passions. After a year of running and participating in short races, she decided to sign up for her first half marathon. Her time was not the best, but she decided that she would continue training to lower her race times. Two years later, she signed up for her first marathon. To date, she has run 6 full marathons (42 km), including Mexico City, Chicago, and New York. Her most intense training starts 3 months before the race and involves running for 2 to 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. In addition, she eats a healthy diet and gets good sleep to ensure better performance.

Dionicio

Dionicio works hard in his vocation as a chef. His love for cooking began at a very young age when he watched his mother and aunts cook typical Mexican dishes. From the age of ten, he learned to prepare his own food. Dionicio has had mentors who have taught him various culinary concepts and contributed to his training. In appreciation for the instruction received by his mentors, he enjoys sharing his knowledge with others interested in the culinary world. Dionicio enjoys cooking Mexican food because it is his way of expressing his roots and traditions. What he enjoys most about his profession is seeing the satisfaction of the diners. His dream is to have a restaurant of his own where he can share his experience and culture with others. Dionicio is also a good reliable friend.

Don Pepe

Values: service, compassion, and charity

Don Pepe considers the smile of children to be precious. That is why he gives his time, his most valuable possession, to make children smile. Don Pepe has been working for more than 10 years in shelters for low-income children in five rural municipalities in Mexico. Three or four times a year, he dedicates a week of his time to serving each of the shelters. While visiting, he coordinates activities and workshops that prepare the children to have a better future. He leads English language teaching, self-sufficiency classes, and sports activities. Each season when he visits shelters, he serves approximately 250 children. His desire is that all children have the same opportunities and that they can grow to be good citizens with honorable principles.

Gaby

Gaby is characterized by her ever present optimism and enthusiasm. You can always find her smiling, even in times of adversity. After her retirement, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit and opened a restaurant, even though she didn’t have formal experience in the culinary arts. Gaby selected her favorite recipe and carefully modified it over and over again. As she honed in on the perfect ingredients and preparation methods, she created a unique new dish, which has become the star of her restaurant. Gaby has a gift of making everyone feel welcome. She created her restaurant as a place to not only enjoy a feast, but also being with family and friends. Her energy and passion for life are contagious.

Georgina

Gina is a dairy farmer. She is the fifth generation in her family dedicated to milk production and taking care of the land. She has promoted the consumption of milk since she was a child. Now, she promotes on social media networks because she knows that milk is a complete and nutritious food that has the power to change people's lives at all stages. Gina combines her work on the ranch with activities in international organizations to talk about nutrition, community development, women's empowerment and sustainability.

Giovanna was a tenacious fighter from birth and throughout her short life. Giovanna knew how to win the hearts of all those who knew her. She transmitted joy to all those who interacted with her. Giovanna had a strong personality that was reflected in her decisions. She fiercely and fully gave and received affection. Giovanna lived with the insatiable desire to accomplish things and fulfill her dreams. She was able to live as she wanted and say what she felt, without fear. She was a true heroine and a tireless warrior who loved life and freedom. Despite her departure from this life, she will always be in our hearts.

Hector is enthusiastic about acquiring new knowledge. In his free time, he studies and develops himself professionally, but not at the expense of spending quality time with family and friends. From an early age, Hector has had a natural fondness for history. You could find him flipping through the history books in the family library and it was one of his favorite subjects at school. Héctor enjoys watching documentaries with historical content and reading articles in publications specializing in history. In his travels, he always looks for opportunities to visit historical sites and better understand the sociological and anthropological aspects surrounding historical events. His favorite time period to study is nineteenth-century Mexico for the transcendence and impact of the events that happened at that time.

Isaac is optimistic, resilient, and adaptable. Isaac always has a good attitude when facing the difficulties of life. Jaime is a free soul. Even though he loves the countryside and his roots, his professional career took an unexpected turn when he became a farmer. Jaime enjoys taking in the gifts provided by a new day – a sunrise, a growing seed, a bird posing in front of him. Jaime is a man of his word. His father taught him that a promise should always be fulfilled and that is why he keeps the promises he makes. Jaime loves reading books. You could say that he is a living library because he knows any subject, can narrate a poem, or tell you a curious fact about the history of Mexico. Jaime treasures the memories and relics of his ancestors. He wishes they could speak because he’s sure he would be amazed by the stories they would tell. Jaime has a heart of gold.

At an early age, José journeyed from his homeland, a small agricultural community dedicated to the cultivation of sugar cane, to Mexico City. The transition from the countryside to the city was not easy for José. After a lot of effort and dedication, he completed his academic studies and found his vocation as a teacher. José dedicated his professional life to teaching older adults and adolescents in vulnerable situations. His dedication to preparing each class was a sign of the deep interest he had to inspire and improve the lives of his students. His life of selfless service also had a great impact on his own home, where he was an example of responsibility, gratitude, and respect for his wife and children. The reputation and influence José created as a teacher is still felt today.
